We live in a paradoxical age. Humanity has never created more, yet has never owned less. Artworks, games, music: everything is consumable, yet almost nothing is truly passed on. YTY was born to bridge this gap between access and sovereignty.
Ownership dissolved behind efficient interfaces. We have accepted to no longer hold what we buy and to confuse temporary licenses with true possession. This renunciation is not technical; it is a deep cultural shift.
Ownership is not a contract; it is a bond between an individual and an object. It implies a physical presence, a ritual gesture, and a responsibility. Without this, there is only temporary usage.
We refuse to let transmission be reduced to an invisible, algorithmic event. Certain things—the things that matter—demand contact, time, and ritual intention. Transmission is one of those things.
We advocate for the reintroduction of the body into the digital world. Our mission is to re-inject presence into value and memory into objects. A world where one can say: "This was entrusted to me."
